Forward Deployed Manager

About Malted

Malted builds specialised intelligence for financial institutions. Our products combine advanced language technology with deep domain understanding to help firms make faster, more accurate and more accountable decisions.

We focus entirely on financial services, working with leading banks, insurers and regulators to turn complex reasoning into clear, dependable intelligence.

Our flagship product, Pulse, provides AI that reasons transparently and can be inspected, governed and tuned to organisational policy.

We’re a small, highly technical team based in Edinburgh, combining deep machine learning experience with a rigorous approach to product design and engineering. We believe that making AI systems understandable isn’t just an ethical necessity, it’s a competitive advantage.

Role overview

We are looking for a client-facing professional to partner with our financial services clients and help them translate the insights surfaced by Pulse into meaningful operational and commercial outcomes.

Pulse generates powerful insights into client conversations and operational performance. However, real value comes when organisations interpret those insights correctly, prioritise the right opportunities and drive change across their business.

This role exists to bridge the gap between data, product insight and real-world operational change.

You will sit at the intersection of data analysis, strategy, operational improvement and enterprise client partnership. You'll work closely with client stakeholders to help them understand the signals and patterns emerging from Pulse, guide them through prioritisation and support them in implementing changes that deliver measurable ROI.

In practice, this means acting as a trusted partner to the client, helping them interrogate insights, translate them into actions and embed improvements into their day-to-day operations.

You will combine strong relationship management skills with strategic thinking, enterprise operational understanding (ideally within the financial services sector) and enough technical literacy to confidently engage in conversations around AI-driven insights, data workflows and platform deployment, acting as an objective and trusted partner who can both support and constructively challenge client thinking.

A forward deployed manager at Malted works closely with clients throughout the lifecycle of Pulse deployments – from pilot design and onboarding through to operational rollout and value realisation.
